How can I install or activate an eSIM QR code received on my mobile phone?

The easiest way to activate an eSIM received on your eSIM-enabled phone (whether iPhone on Android phone) is to tap on the eSIM activation link.

Another option for eSIM-enabled iPhones (i.e. iPhone XR/XS and newer models, with iOS 17.4+):

1. Long press (long tap) on the eSIM QR code received via email or in app on your phone to open a menu (as shown below)
2. Tap on "Add eSIM"
3. Now you just follow the eSIM installation steps from Step 2. (i.e. no need for Step 1 which is scanning the QR code)
